HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT has the clearly defined goal of MAKING BUSINESSES MORE SUCCESSFUL by supporting, training and upskilling their employees. However, like other areas in businesses, HR development is undergoing a TRANSFORMATION influenced by technological and societal developments such as artificial intelligence, people’s search for a sense of purpose in their work, and the skills shortage.
