The EU Erasmus+ project BOOST takes agribusiness to the next level
To enable technological progress in the agricultural sector, it is vital for the stakeholders to adopt a more entrepreneurial mindset. Through the EU Erasmus+ project BOOST, bwcon GmbH is therefore paving the way for sustainable innovation through the targeted promotion of entrepreneurial spirit within the industry. An interactive educational and networking platform bridges the gap between theory and practice.
BOOST raises the bar for promoting agriculture in the European Union. The EU project’s innovative training program offers young and future agripreneurs instruction in sustainable Precision Agriculture methods. It is helping to accelerate the digital transformation of agribusiness, building an online network and teaching key management, agripreneurship and marketing skills. At its core is a practical educational and networking platform that provides farmers with the knowledge and tools they need to run their farms sustainably and resource-efficiently. BOOST is thus making a vital contribution to securing the future of Europe’s agricultural sector and promoting sustainable practices in a digital world. The 36-month project brings together partners from Greece, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Germany, Slovenia and Cyprus.
What makes BOOST special?
As well as offering interactive online courses, BOOST’s specially developed e-learning platform provides a forum where people with an interest in farming can speak directly to academic experts and practitioners. In this way, the EU project bridges the gap between theory and practice, bringing a breath of fresh air to agricultural training.
A community for the future of agriculture
The BOOST platform was developed by agriculture experts with a view to building a strong online network of students, startups, enterprises and teachers. The aim is to strengthen local Precision Agriculture networks, support young agripreneurs and get new users excited about sustainable agricultural practices.
