Throughout the long history of economic development in Germany, changing circumstances have repeatedly given rise to new challenges. At the start of the 20st century, the work of economic development practitioners still revolved around marketing commercial premises and disseminating general information about their local area. Fast-forward to the present day, and they now offer a diverse range of services including everything from consulting and networking to the conception and implementation of transformation processes.
